As I wove this scarf I thought of the time I spent sitting on the Oregon coast watching the waves come in, each wave sparkling in the sun. Hence the name. The squares are soft aqua - like the ocean waves and are bordered with crisscrosses of variegated yarn in seashell pink, deep jade, and sunshine yellow. It is very soft and supple and drapes beautifully. The yarns are a blend of cotton and bamboo: the aqua is hand-dyed in my home. This scarf could be worn any time, anywhere. It is 72" long and 6.5" wide with a 4" twisted fringe. Enjoy!
